Essex Record Office Catalogue

The Essex Record Office houses an impressive collection of the Essex County Hospital resources. They are especially good for researching the later period of the hospital, from the twentieth century onwards.

Colchester Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust

The Trust has put together a comprehensive visual record of the Trust’s buildings together with a wide range of staff activities. This site includes many photographs of Essex County Hospital, including some with historical interest, and is a wonderful resource. These photographs are hosted by the photographic website Flickr.
